Organization profile

We are the second largest neurosurgery service in Latin America and the largest service in Colombia. We have on-site surgeons 24 hours a day at our facilities, a differentiating element that increases the opportunity for care. We do 2,100 procedures a year of which 54% are spine surgery. The Méderi neurosurgery group is part of the National Council for Accreditation in Neurosurgery and the National Council of the Ministry of Education and the Colombian Association of Neurosurgery. We work with up-to-date technology in the area of neurosurgery such as LEIKA, which allows us to obtain high-quality images accompanied by infrared for vascular pathology and identify the location of tumors. It also facilitates precision in surgeries. We have the only technology in the country (O-ARM) which provides security and high quality in patient care.
