Description

Patients with critical illness related to COVID-19 who were hospitalized in the intensive care unit requiring invasive mechanical ventilation have long-term complications including post-ICU syndrome, which conditions long-term decreased functionality. It is of great importance to continue researching the experience of post-ICU survival in order to implement, improve and create better evidence-based medical interventions and optimize rehabilitation programs.
