Project Details

Description

Lateral incisional hernias have been little studied. Its surgical management is challenging due to bony prominences and neurovascular structures, which make mesh fixation difficult.
The objective of this study is to describe our series of lateral hernias in order to show the experience in terms of the type of mesh, the surgical approach and recurrence and thus broaden the knowledge about this increasingly important pathology.
