Abstract
Generalised lymphadenopathy is a common manifestation, but usually non-specific andindicative of multiple diseases. Autoimmune diseases, including lupus erythematosus, maybe the first manifestation of this finding, and therefore should be considered for differentialdiagnosis. In the cases presented, clinically and radiologically disseminated lymphadeno-pathy, they were confounding variables for rapid diagnosis, which is reached through theproper clinical and para-clinical context and with histopathological confirmation. Given thatlupus is a potentially fatal disease, it is important to recognise this presentation.
